This converter is made for integrators who need flexible, reliable mounting options in the field. Its hardware design focuses on the practicality and convenience of on-site installation, supporting horizontal mounting, suspended mounting, or rack mounting, each easy, secure, and reliable. A single CVT10-M device is half a rack unit in width, and two devices, or one device paired with a connecting piece, can be combined into a single assembly that's a full rack unit wide, simplifying integration into standard AV racks.
Flexible Connectivity for Long-Distance Transmission
The CVT10-M features 2 optical ports with hot-swappable optical modules installed at the factory, each supporting bandwidth of up to 10 Gbit/s, alongside 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports each supporting up to 1 Gbit/s. When used with fiber in and Ethernet out, up to 8 Ethernet ports are available; when used with Ethernet in and fiber out, all 10 Ethernet ports are available, giving integrators flexibility in how they route signal depending on whether the sending card has optical ports.
Dependable Data Transmission
Using multi-mode optical technology with a transmission rate ranging from 9.95 to 11.3 Gbit/s and an 850nm wavelength, the CVT10-M supports transmission distances of up to 300 meters.
